Week 80 - KC
3:35 PM
This week has been ordinary.
But at church we had a ton of less actives come which was awesome! Also, President Christensen came down to KC
and shared from Mosiah 2:41
And moreover, I would desire that ye should consider on the blessed
and happy state of those that keep the commandments of God. For behold, they are blessed in all things,
both temporal and spiritual; and if they hold out faithful to the end they are
received into heaven that thereby they may dwell with God in a state of
never-ending happiness. O remember, remember that these things are true; for
the Lord God hath spoken it.
He promised if they/ we would
1) pay tithing
2)accept and fulfil callings
3) come to church all 3 hrs
4) study our scriptures everyday
that we would be happy and have success in our lives.
I can support what my mission President said because
I've seen it in the lives of so many members here and in my own life. The
absolute best part of a mission is seeing people take a leap of faith and
seeing their lives change because of it. Speaking of which I heard Bong Amap
got baptized! I'm so happy for her! Sad I missed the look on her face but I
can't wait to see her again and hear her experience from her!
Have a good week everyone!
Love Sister Semones
