Week 83 - for could we have supposed when we started...that God would have granted unto us such great blessings?

9:19 AM

This letter is the hardest thing I've ever had to write.  It is much harder than a AP free response question or even a college application essay. Needless to say,  I am somewhat in denial about leaving my mission.

Really though

"for could we have supposed when we started... that God would have granted unto us such GREAT blessings?"

I have to say every miracle I've seen could be labelled under some type of change or charity both of which are possible because of the love and sacrifice our Heavenly Father and Saviour Jesus Christ have for each and everyone of us.

I love testifying of them and the blessings they are willing to give us. Really we have so much evidence of their love all around us. Our eternal families, the Book of Mormon, the knowledge of the Plan of Salvation, a prophet, and even commandments. (so much I can't write it all)

It's amazing to see what things will touch the hearts of those we meet with and even our own hearts. I've truly come to accept Alma's words as my own when he says,

" Now my brethren, we see that God is mindful of every people, whatsoever land they may be in; yea, he numbereth his people, and his bowels of mercy are over all the earth. Now this is my joy, and my great thanksgiving; yea, and I will give thanks unto my God forever. Amen."

In a rice field, there are tons of rice patches and within each patch hundreds of rice bundles waiting to be harvested one by one (by hand). Isn't it great to know that that is the same way our Heavenly Father works? He will help us grow and change and prepare for harvest or completion one by one. He knows what each of us need and he has so much mercy because he wants us to succeed through Christ.

I wouldn't trade my mission for anything in the world because I have seen the above come about in my own personal life and in the lives of those I love so much. I can't imagine heaven without them and like I stated in an earlier email, Cambodia for me will always be a piece of Heaven on Earth.

I will see you all soon...
If you see me cry I'm not saying why. ;)
